God may ask you to do something and it doesn't make sense to you.  God.   God may have a plan for you and you are trying to figure out the end from the beginning.  Why would God say to Jonah: 'Go to Nineveh'?  We don't always know why God picks certain places to do things.  You don't know why you were born where you were born and not in another country, under different parentage, on a different date in history.  And God may be directing you in a certain way you don't understand.  It may be the thing that God is asking you to do.  You say, 'I can't do it.  It's too big for me, it's too great.  That step would be a giant step and I am not big enough to do it.  I am afraid.  I can't take that step.  I cannot go that direction.  Besides, I can't understand why God would say: "Do that", You see, God knows all places and you never know what God is going to do next.  would have thought that God had any plan for a place like Nineveh?

We don't even know whom God is going to convert next.  The next person to be saved on God's calendar may surprise you.  Who would have thought at one time in the early Church that the next person to be saved was Saul of Tarsus?  For every Christian was running from that man and I would suspect that when different Christians were praying for certain people they weren't even thinking of praying for Saul.  Sometimes we look at a particular individual and we say: 'That person will never be saved,' or, 'what a gigantic task it would be for God to save that man, that woman.  This particular individual is beyond help.'
